Worcester – Richard F. Kane, 79, of Worcester, died on Sunday, April 7th in the Blaire House of Worcester.
Mr. Kane is survived by his five daughters, Phyllis Grady, Sharon Ramaska and Kathleen Athanasiadis all of Spencer, Judith Jarobski of Leicester and Christine Sanders of Dudley; 4 brothers; 16 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
Richard was born in Worcester, son of the late Albert and Lila (Standring) Kane and is also predeceased by a son Richard Kane Jr. and a sister. He served in the United States Marine Corps and worked for many years as a machinist at Morgan Construction Co. in Worcester until his retirement.
Private funeral services will be held in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Memorial contributions in memory of Richard, may be made to the David Prouty High School Scholarship Fund 302 Main Street Spencer, MA 01562 to help fund a scholarship that was established in memory of his son.
