Devoted father of Joan Gallivan and her husband Mike of Byfield, MA and Ken Kaloostian and his wife April of Haverhill, MA. Loving grandfather of Meredith Gallivan and her fiancé, Darin Friedrichs of Des Moines, IA, Paige Gallivan of Spokane, WA, Olivia Gallivan of Byfield, MA and Emma and Harry Kaloostian of Haverhill, MA. Brother of Elizabeth Donabed of Sherman Oaks, CA, Arpena Lazarian of Waterville, ME, and the late Anne Esty of Hebron, NH, the late Charlie Kaloostian of Watertown, MA and the late Irene Misakian of Watertown, MA. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Funeral service at Saint James Armenian Church, 465 Mount Auburn Street, Watertown on Saturday, April 13 at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Aram Bedrosian Funeral Home, 558 Mount Auburn Street, Watertown on Friday from 4 – 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Saint James Armenian Apostolic Church, Watertown. Veteran WWII, U S Navy, life member of Corporal Paul Marsoubian Amvets Post # 41( past commander and manager), Watertown , member of the Disabled American Veterans. Active member of numerous organizations at Saint James Armenian Church, Watertown and an active volunteer for 25 years at the Armenian Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Jamaica Plain. In addition George was an active volunteer for the Shriner’s Hospital and the Veteran’s Shelter in Boston. Interment at Newton Cemetery, Newton.
