Betty Green
Augusta, GA – Mrs. Betty Jean (Jeanne) Dillon Green passed away peacefully April 9, 2013 after a brief battle with cancer.
Mrs. Green was born December 17, 1942 to the late Charles W. and Elizabeth L. Dillon. She was a secretary at Aquinas High school for many years and a member of Saint Mary on the Hill Catholic Church.
Mrs. Green is survived by a loving and devoted husband, Dwain G. Green; son, Dwain Glenton (Glen) Green, Jr.; daughter and son-in-law, Courtney Elizabeth Green Ertter and Steve Ertter; grandchildren, Dylan and Ashlee Ertter; and a host of other family and friends.
A funeral service will be held Friday, April 12, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son with Fr. Michael Ingram officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brian Green, Mark Green, Mike Green, Chris Green, O.J. Seymore and Brad Rabun.
