Lucy Leone, age 86, died Monday August 2, 2004 at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford.Born in Detroit, MI she was the daughter of the late Catherine (Zangara) & Domenic DeSanto and the Beloved wife of the late Salvatore Leone.
Lucy was a Medford resident since 1965. She worked as a stitcher for the Davis Clothing Co., for over 30 years, which was located in Boston before moving to Brockton. Lucy retired in 1983.
Lucy is survived by her devoted son Roy J. Leone and his wife Donna of Billerica. Loving sister of Grace Giordano, Philip DeSanto both of Medford, Jack DeSanto of Vermont, Anna DeGiovanni, Louise MacDonald both of Lynnfield and the late Joseph and Dominic DeSanto. Also survived by many loving Nieces, Nephews, Grand Nieces & Nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Thursday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made in Lucy´s name to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
