Ketchen, Claire L. (Richmond) 82, of Plymouth, MA, died at Jordan Hospital on April 8. Wife of the late Charles J. Ketchen, she leaves her children: William J. Ketchen of Pittsford, NY, Judy A (Ketchen) Litchfield of Tucson, AZ, and Barbara A. (Ketchen) Pisano of Somerville, MA. She also leaves her sister, Joan Bouchard of Dover, NH, eight grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Alpheus, Benjamin, and Frank Richmond.
Claire was born in Plymouth and is the daughter of Alpheus and Helen (Donahue) Richmond and step-daughter of Rose (Pacheco) Richmond. She attended Plymouth Schools. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. Claire was a Member of the General Society of Mayflower Descendents.
Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St., Plymouth on Wednesday, April 10 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at the St. Peter’s Church, 86 Court St. Plymouth, MA on Thursday, April 11 at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Vine Hills Cemetery, in Plymouth.
