Alda (Pereira) Viveiros, age 91 of Somerset, passed away on April 8, 2013. She was the wife of the late John “Johny V” Viveiros and the daughter of the late Jose & Bertha da Jesus (Santos) Pereira. Prior to retiring, Alda worked for Cheryl Dress Co. and other Garment Mfg. Companies as a Seamstress Supervisor. She was a parishioner of St. John of God Church, Somerset.
She is survived by her daughter: Cynthia A. Belloni (husband Francis) of Swansea; grandchildren: Michael Belleni (wife Karen) of Nevada, Cheryl M. (Belloni) Rigo of Swansea, Scott Belloni of New Hampshire, and Shannon Belloni of New Bedford; great grandchildren: Nicholas, Andrew, & Jenelle Bellany, Olivia Belleni, Alysha, Zachary, Trevor, & Samantha Rigo & several nieces & nephews. She was the sister of the late Ida Souza.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on FRIDAY at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John of God Church, Somerset at 10:00 A.M. Burial will be private. Calling hours on THURSDAY 4-8 P.M.
