Patricia A. "Pat" Lorenz
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother
CONCORD, NH: Patricia A. "Pat" (Gibbons) Lorenz, age 82, recently of Bow, NH, a former longtime resident of Tewksbury, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013, at the Concord Hospice House in Concord, NH.
She was the beloved wife of Ernest E. "Ernie" Lorenz, with whom she would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on April 11, 2013.
Born in Brooklyn, NY on April 5, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Henry J. Gibbons and the late Maud (Jones) Gibbons.
Pat was raised in the Bronx section of New York City. She attended local schools and graduated from James Munroe High School in 1950.
Pat worked for the Malden Hospital, the State Street Bank, and retired in 1988 from the Quincy office of the Traveler's Insurance Company.
She resided in Melrose, Malden, Medford and Tewksbury until recently moving to Bow, NH.
Pat was an active member of the Tewksbury Golden Age Club and Senior Drop-in-Center, where she enjoyed attending the numerous functions, socials, trips, and gatherings sponsored by the Senior Center.
In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by one son, William K. Lorenz and his wife Maryann of Auburn, NH; one daughter Linda A. Vignault of Lowell; three grandchildren, Adam and Trisha Vignault, and Conner Lorenz; four great grandchildren, Faylynne, Lorenze, Zachary, and Reneau.
Calling hours are Wednesday, April 10, from 4-8 p.m., in the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 11, at 10 a.m., in the funeral home. Interment at Tewksbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Tewksbury Senor Center, 175 Chandler St., Tewksbury, MA 01876.
