Muriel H.M. (Evans) Lawrence, 64 of Marshfield formerly of Whitman, passed away on April 7th after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Christian Lawrence. Born in Dorchester, daughter of the late Benjamin and Marthe (Devillers) Evans.
She was a longtime resident of Whitman before moving to Marshfield 20 years ago. Muriel worked as an insurance agent for Austin Insurance in Whitman and Mass Bay Insurance in Marshfield for many years.
She attended St. Patrick’s High School in Brockton.
Muriel enjoyed playing cribbage, poker and all types of card games.
She is survived by her daughters, Michele Young and her husband John and Danielle Osborne, all of Whitman, her longtime companion Paul Huffman of Marshfield; also 5 grandchildren.
