Raymond W. Gunther passed away on April 5, 2013. He was 73 years old.
Raymond was a longtime resident of Malden and Saugus. He was a United States Army Veteran and an avid fisherman. Raymond retired from Kraft General Foods where he worked for 30 years.
Raymond was the devoted husband of 37 years to Carolyn Presterone Gunther. He was the son of the late Winters and Viola (Green) Gunther. Raymond was the loving father of Renee Gunther of Lowell, Eric Mills and Marlene Sykes. He was the dear brother of Helen Locke, Etta Ragster and the late Olive Malloy, Phyllis Carter and Frances Gordon. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held from the A.J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Wednesday, April 10th from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. A service will be held at 3:30 p.m. during the visitation. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private.
