Obituary

Julia M. (Tompkins) Laudenslager, a resident of Bradford, Massuchusetts and formerly of Charlestown, Woburn and Hattiesburg, Mississippi, entered into eternal life on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence after a lengthy illness. She was 61 years old.

Julia was born in Boston on May, 25, 1951, a daughter of the late Raymond C. Tompkins and Josephine (Iannillo) Tompkins. She grew up in Charlestown where she attended Boston Public Schools and graduated from Chelsea High School. She owned and operated several businesses that she began in the area. She was a loyal lifetime friend of The Tuna Parkers.

Julia is the beloved wife of the late Kenneth R. Laudenslager. She is the devoted mother of Jennifer Murphy and her husband Kevin of Salem, New Hampshire, Tracy Laudenslager and her fiance Paul Cronin II of Haverhill and Tami Berry and her wife Sandra of Haverhill. She is the loving Nonnie to Rachel Julia, Brooke, Siarra and MaKenna. She is the beloved daughter-in-law of Francis Atkinson. She is the loving twin sister of Joseph Tompkins and his wife Judy, Raymond Tompkins and his wife Maureen, Diane Craven and her husband Michael and Joanne Tompkins. She is the sister-in-law of Thomas Laudenslager and his wife Debra. Missed by her aunt Eleanor Kostinden and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She enjoyed traveling with her sister-in-law Pamela Cameron.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Julia's visiting hours on Sunday, April 7, 2013 from 2 to 6 P.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. Her Funeral Services and burial will be private.
