Helen F. (Bishop) Lawrence of Stoneham passed away on Thursday April 4, 2013 at the Life Care Center of Stoneham. She was 91 years of age.
Born in Boston, Helen was the loving daughter of the late Bernard J. and Maude J. (Daley) Bishop. Helen was a warm and caring daughter, sister, mother, aunt and friend. She will be sadly missed.
Helen was the beloved mother of Barbara A. Lawrence and Patricia M. Curtis of Stoneham. She was the cherished sister of Robert Bishop of CA, M. George Bishop and his wife Joan of Somerville, Elizabeth Luciano of Stoneham, the late Paul Bishop, Pauline Mitchell, Jeanette Bishop, Florence Finn and Dorothy Bishop. Helen is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Helen was the former secretary of the First Congregational Church in Stoneham.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Tuesday April 9, 2013 at 9:00am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Helen’s Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10:00am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Monday April 8, 2013 from 4-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and handicapped elevator are available. Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
