Mrs. Ann Boxx Walker
North Augusta, SC---Mrs. Ann Boxx Walker, 82, entered into rest on Friday, April 5, 2013 at University Hospital.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Sunset Hill Cemetery, North Augusta, SC with Reverend Dr. J. Andrew Menger officiating.
Mrs. Walker was a native of North Augusta, SC. She was an accomplished organist and pianist and was a member of the Methodist faith. She was of Scottish heritage and was a member of the McGregor Clan.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Robert Edgar Walker, Sr.
Mrs. Walker is survived by three sons, Robert E. Walker, Jr., of Augusta, GA, David Walker and wife, Geri of North Augusta, SC, Michael Alan Walker of Graniteville, SC, four granddaughters, two grandsons and two great grandsons.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 6, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Platt’s Crawford Avenue.
Pallbearers will be Robert E. Walker, Jr., David Walker, Michael Alan Walker and Melton Druckenmiller.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1701 North Beauregard Street, Alexandria, VA 22311.
