Ray Hubbard, 65, of Fitzgerald, died Friday, April 5, 2013, at his residence.

Mr. Hubbard was born November 23, 1947, in Atlanta, Georgia to Judy Hubbard McDonald and the late Harris Ray Hubbard, Jr. He was a graduate of Robinson High School in Tampa, Florida. He was a former tire salesman for the automotive industry. Mr. Hubbard was a former resident of Chattanooga, Tennessee and lived in the community for the past nine years. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his mother: Judy McDonald of Fitzgerald; brother: Mark (Marenda) Hubbard of Cartersville; three sisters: Constance (Byron) Kokoski of LaGrange, Ohio, Patricia Green of Huntsville, Alabama and Judy (Don) Everts of Chattanooga, Tennessee; step-sisters: Virginia (James) Nall of Lilburn, Ann (Monroe) Deese and Marilyn (Steve) Gibbons, all of Fitzgerald and step-brother: Paul A. “Buddy” (Charlotte) McDonald, Jr. of Cub Run, Kentucky. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his stepfather: Paul A. McDonald.
