Mary A. Kerwin, 86, of Crescent Street in Waltham, MA died Friday, March 29, 2013 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was the wife of the late James P. Kerwin. They had been married for 49 years.
Born in Sunnyside, New York, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Rosemary (McGovern) Prior. She was a longtime resident of Chatham, MA and lived in Waltham since 2004.
She had been a bank teller for Cape Cod Bank & Trust prior to her retirement.
She is survived by a sister Elizabeth O'Dwyer, her sons Peter G. Kerwin and his wife, Jenny Graham of Lincoln and James F. Kerwin of Waltham, MA and a granddaughter, Katherine Kerwin of Lincoln. She was the sister of the late Agnes O’Connor and John and Frank Prior.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 8:30 AM from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville, RI. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Avenue, Greenville, RI. Burial in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visitation Sunday 4-6PM.
