Obituary

SEEKONK …Richard J. Perry, 82, of Buckley Street, Fall River passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He was married to his soul mate, Juliette (LaPointe) Perry for 58 years. He was born in Stonington, CT the son of the late John and Miriam (Pilkington) Perry.
Mr. Perry was employed at L.G. Balfour for over 25 years and retired from the Robbins Company in Attleboro in 1995. He was a member of St. Bernadette Parish (Notre Dame Church), also a 4th Degree Knight with the Knight of Columbus MSGR Prevost Council 12380, St. Vincent de Paul, and Holy Name Societies. He served as President of the Notre Dame Credit Union for 20 years. Mr. Perry served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife, 3 daughters: Constance Desbiens of Fall River, Susan Dumont and her husband Rick, Denise Treacy and her husband Todd all of Seekonk, 2 Sons: Robert Perry of Fall River and David Perry and his wife Renee of E. Providence, RI, 12 grandchildren: Jennifer, Jillian, Elizabeth, Robert, Kirstie, Kayla, Tyler, Brett, Dylan, Alexis, Gabrielle and Noah, 2 Great Granddaughters: Bryana Juliette Laramee and Juliet Marie Nolan, 2 Sisters: Mildred St. Laurent and his twin sister Ruth Costa both of Fall River, several nieces and nephews .
Funeral Service to which relatives and friends are invited to will be held Saturday at 8 am from the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME 1555 Pleasant Street Fall River. Mass of Christian burial at 9 AM at St. Bernadette Parish, 529 Eastern Avenue, Fall River. Interment will be at Notre Dame Cemetery, Stafford Road, Fall River. Calling hours will be Friday from 4-8 PM.
