Obituary

SALEM- Olive M. Kelley, 87, of Salem, died Thursday morning, July 29, 2004 in the Salem Hospital following a brief illness.

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Gertrude (Hamilton) Kelley. She was a graduate of Salem Teachers College where she received a degree in education.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed for 14 years with the Internal Revenue Service in Andover. She was previously employed as a teacher in Massachusetts and Connecticut for 18 years.

Miss Kelley, who lived on Chandler Street in North Salem for many years was a resident of the Brookhouse Home for over 15 years. She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, Salem.

She leaves no immediate family, but is survived by her many friends at the Brookhouse Home. She was predeceased by one sister, Marion G. Rice.

Rev. G. Kenneth Steigler, Pastor of the Wesley United Methodist Church will officiate at a memorial service at 4 pm on Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at the Brookhouse Home.
