Funeral services for Willard C. Alberson, 67, of Ashburn will be held Friday, April 5, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at High Hill Baptist Church with burial to follow in Snowridge Cemetery in Ashburn. Mr. Alberson died Tuesday in Adel following an extended illness.
Mr. Alberson was the son of the late Virgil L. and Gladys Wheeler Alberson and was born in Ashburn. He was a retired farmer and school bus driver. He was a member of the High Hill Baptist Church and served in the Georgia National Guard. He loved fishing, hunting and the farm life. He was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Leroy Alberson and one sister, Joyce A. Ivey.
He is survived by his daughter, Amanda (Nick) A Masters, Cordele, GA ; his brother Dale Alberson, Albany, GA and his grandson, Kaden Andrew Masters, Cordele, GA. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday at Perry Funeral Chapel.
