Robert E. Johnson, 83, life long Madison County resident, died April 3, 2013 at Community Hospital in Anderson.
He was born July 6, 1929 in Anderson the son of Harold R. and Mable (Wilson) Johnson. He was an electrician with Delco Remy for 35 years. He was a graduate of Anderson High School and served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He enjoyed reading.
Survivors his wife of 42 years Paula Johnson, whom he married on April 8, 1972. 8 children: Jeffrey Johnson of Florida, Jerry(Tammy) Johnson of Mentone, IN and Jane (John Dohmer) Johnson of Folsom, CA , Kevin Hart of Franklin, Lexie Weedman of Franklin, Lora Mullins of Anderson; David (Patricia) Hart of Florida and Thomas (Allison) Laws of Noblesville; many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren; a brother, Jack L. (Mary) Lavinnia of Tennessee; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Louise Hastings
Private Graveside services will be held at K of P IOOF Cemetery in Frankton.
Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service handled the arrangements.
