Mike Duke Royals, 60, of Ocilla, died Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at his residence.
Memorial services will be held 2 PM, Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Midway Church of God, Irwin County, with the Rev. Glenn Fussell officiating.
Mr. Royals was born December 9, 1952 in Virginia. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps and completed his GED during his term of service. He was the owner/operator of Residential Roofing and was a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife: Cheryl A. Royals of Ocilla, one son: Adrian & Laura Royals of Ocilla; one grandson: Austin Royals; brothers and sisters: Becky & Jerry Edwards and Fred L. Duke, Jr., all of Ocilla, Linda D. Bullington & Jerry Williams of Fitzgerald, and Jimmy & Angel Duke of Birmingham, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents: Frederick L. Duke, Sr. and Mattie Jo Pettis Duke.
