Obituary

WORCESTER – Mr. Gary A. Webster, 63, passed away Friday March 29th at UMass Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of thirty years, Patricia (Murphy) Webster of Worcester, two daughters, Brittany Webster and her fiancé Joseph Essex of Paxton, Allycia Fontaine and her husband Daniel Fontaine III of Grafton, a grandson, Daniel Fontaine IV, two sisters, Beverly Stearns and her husband Thomas of Panama, Sandra Boothby of New Hampshire, a father and mother in law, Ronald and Shirley Murphy of Auburn, and close family members, David and Ann-Marie Saksa of Worcester; one brother in law, Christopher Murphy and his wife Margo, five sisters in law, Deborah Stephenson and her partner James, Linda Layman, Valerie Lucas and her husband Tony, Ronna Lloyd and her husband Charles, and Lisa Powers; and many nieces and nephews.

Gary was born January 8, 1950 in Worcester, Massachusetts a son of the late Albert and Jeanne (Cotnoire) Webster.

A lifelong resident, Gary was educated through the Worcester schools. He worked as a set-up machinist for twelve years at Smith Valve Co. and most recently as a manager of two Mass Pike gas stations owned by F.L. Roberts.

He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching and keeping statistics of a variety of sports.

His funeral will be held Tuesday April 2nd from FAZIO FUNERAL HOME, 9 Branch St. Worcester with a Prayer Service at 12:00pm in the Funeral Home. Visiting hours will be at the Funeral Home, Tuesday from 10:00am to 12:00pm . Burial will be Notre Dame Cemetery.
