Albert "Willard" Ingram, Jr., 73, of Tifton died peacefully at the Dillard House in Tifton on Tuesday, April 2, 2013. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 5, 2013 at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Rev. Andy Ring will officiate with burial to follow. Marc Ingram, Coley Ingram, Jody Johnson, Michael Johnson, Russ Dillard and Drew Harrison will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 4, 2013, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Ingram was born on June 16, 1939 in Tift County and was the son of Albert Willard Ingram, Sr. and Louise Barry Ingram, both deceased. He was retired from the Lab at the Georgia Department of Transportation. He was also retired as a security guard from the Georgia Agrirama and served as an auxiliary policeman. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Tifton.
Mr. Ingram is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Lyn and Jean Ingram of Alapaha; one sister and brother-in-law, Pat and Stephen Bennett of Morrow, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and his caregivers, Teresa Stoner and Lynn Osborne.
