Marvin Leon Moser, 89, of Anderson died March 30, 2013 at his home in Anderson.
He was born on July 2, 1923 in Winchester, Indiana, the son of Vernon and Mildred (Austin) Moser. He was a retired Church of God Minister, serving multiple pastorates throughout the United States, returning to Anderson in 2001 to be close to family.
He attended Anderson College and served in the US Army. He served as a chaplain for the 137th order H.M. CO. Field Army.
Survivors include his wife, Estella Leona (Funk) Moser of Anderson, 3 children: Allen Moser of Lubbock, TX, Galen Moser of Maine, and Carol (husband Ray)Renner of Anderson. 5 grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Earl and Curtis, and a sister, Merry Johnston.
The family would like to express their gratitude to St. Vincent's Hospice for the wonderful care given to Marvin, by the many caregivers, especially the assistance of Cheryl Harrington RN and Patricia Schultz.
Service will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2013, at 4:00 PM at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service in Anderson, officiated by his son-in-law, Ray Renner. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2:00 PM until the time of the service on Sunday. Burial will take place at a later date in Michigan.
