Jayne "JJ" (Cottingham) Albee, age 58, was born November 15, 1954
She passed away on Friday March 29 after a very courageous battle with cancer.
Jayne lived in Florida over half her life. She also lived in Buffalo and was an elephant trainer at the zoo.
She embraced all religions and was a very spiritual person and an avid animal lover.
Jayne worked in the computer field as a representative of educational software and hardware.
Her most precious children she leaves behind, Terra Jane Albee of the Virgin Islands; Sean David Albee of Miami, FL; her mother Fern (Farmer) Cottingham; brothers and sisters Stephen Cottingham (Tina Cravens) Cheryl Franklin; Sheri (Mike) Buston; Sandra (Albert) Weatherburn and Larry Cottingham all of Anderson; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews; Companion Mike Heinze; good friends Kelli Flores and Vicki Thurman and all her friends in Florida and Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her father William Cottingham.
The family would like to thank Dr. Sharief and staff; the sixth floor Nurses and Aides at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital and St. Vincent Hospice especially Chris.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Humane Society or American Cancer Association.
Celebration of Life will be held April 8 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Park Place Church of God
