Mrs. Marjorie C. Regan, age 75, died Saturday, March 30, 2013 in Gloucester, after a lengthy illness, with her loving family by her side. A life long Woburn resident, Marjorie was the devoted daughter of the late Margaret T. (McDevitt) & Patrick J. McElhinney.
Marjorie was born and raised in Woburn and graduated from St. Charles High School. She then attended and graduated from Mt. Auburn Nursing School in Cambridge and became a registered nurse. She worked at the Bedford VA Hospital and retired from there in the early 1980's.
Marjorie was a devout Christian and was a long time member of the Grace Chapel Church of Lexington. She was a leader of the Joy Bible study women's group and also a member of the Prison Ministry group. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her loving grandchildren.
Marjorie was the beloved wife of the late Russell Regan. Devoted mother of Damian Brennan and his wife Heather of Gloucester, Maureen Brennan of Largo, FL and Mark Brennan and his wife Kristina of Maynard. Loving grandmother of Matthew, Sean, Ethan, Danny, Wendy, Amy and Tommy. Sister of Elizabeth Goodhue and Patricia Gately both of Woburn.
A memorial service celebrating Marjorie's life at Pigeon Cove Chapel, 155 Granite St., Rockport, Saturday April 6th at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment was private.
It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made in Marjorie's name to the Imago School, 1 Percival St. Maynard, MA 01754.
