Mrs. Carmela L. Tentindo, age 90 of Medford MA, died Friday at her home. She is the beloved wife of the late Attilio Tentindo.
Mrs. Tentindo was born in Italy, daughter of the late Rosario and the late Maria (Consigliacataldo) Nazzaro. She was raised and educated in Italy and came to the United States in 1949.
She enjoyed many volunteer activities and was a member of St. Raphael's Womens' Club and was a participant in many church activities. She and her husband enjoyed many trips back to the old country in Italy.
In earlier years she worked with her husband in Arthur's Pastry on Main Street in Medford.
She is survived by a daughter Liana Hoffman of New Hampshire, and 2 sons Philip Tentindo and Louis Tentindo of Medford.
A Funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, Wednesday at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. At the request of the family, visiting hours have been omitted. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
