Peter E. Goulet 63, formerly of Blackstone, died Monday, December 10, in the Cumberland Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility, Somerset, KY, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Shelley (Thifault) Goulet. He was a mechanic and truck driver for the Coppello Trucking Co. in Marlborough, MA, and Delta Gulf, retiring in 2006. Mr. Goulet enjoyed antique trucks, and was a member of The American Historical Truck Society. He and his wife Shelley celebrated their thirty eighth wedding anniversary on November 11th of last year. He was born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Eli and Malvina (Lesperance) Goulet. Besides his wife, he is survived by his son; Matthew Peter Goulet and his wife Elisha of Somerset, KY, three grandchildren; Michael Creech, and Brenna and Amber Goulet of Somerset, and two sisters; Ann Ray and her husband Lawrence of Southfield, MA, and Mae Bacon and her husband Wilfred of Blackstone. His funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 in St. Paul’s Church, Blackstone.
