Helen Hauk

Helen Diane "Dede" (Rayl) Hauk, 70, of Anderson, passed away on March 30. 2013 at her home.
She was born on January 11, 1943 in Shelbyville, the daughter of Dorothy Alice (Willson) and Albert Kenneth Rayl. She was employed as a secretary with Anderson University for 17 years and was also a homemaker. She was a member of New Hope Christian Church. She enjoyed running, walking, quilting, beading, sewing and needle point.
She is survived by her husband, Michael L. Hauk, whom she married on April 27, 1962. Children: Jennifer Diane (husband Thom) Zimmerman of Indianapolis, and Gregory Michael Hauk of Rushville. 2 Grandchildren: Reagan Diane Hauk of Ingalls and Jacob Lee Hauk of Rushville. Siblings; Ronald Rayl of Wilkinson, Reatha Rayl Shaw of Ingalls, and Albert K. Rayl II of Morristown, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her step father, Ralph Rigdon.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 5:00 PM at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor John Hannum officiating Visitation with the family will take place 2 hours prior to the service.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Vincents Hospice or the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation.
