Pauline J. Rousseau, 76, of Nashua, NH formerly of Dracut, MA, passed Friday March 29, 2013, surrounded by her family at the Community Hospice House of Merrimack, after a lengthy illness. She was born June 13, 1936 in Lowell, MA and was a daughter of the late Aime and Eva ( Roucher) Pare’. She was raised and educated in the Lowell area, and had been a resident of Dracut for most of her life, prior to relocating to Nashua 8 years ago.
Pauline was a homemaker and beloved mother of seven children. She enjoyed playing bingo, and will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Members of the family include her husband of 59 years, Richard S. Rousseau, seven children and their spouses, Nancy and Joseph Aiello, Jeannie and Michael Friedberg, Edward and Donna Rousseau, Daniel and Christine Rousseau, Gary and Colleen Rousseau, Sandra Hillard and Deborah and John Foley, 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, Three brothers, Gene Pare’, Roger Pare’ and Donald Pare’, two sisters, Elaine Marco and Theresa Larochelle. She was predeceased by two brothers, Leo and Albert “Pope” Pare’.
A visitation was held Sunday April 7, 2013 at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry from 10am to 11:30am. A memorial service followed at 11:30 in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA, 01701.
