AHEARN, Veronica (nee Morrissey) age 90 of Teaneck, NJ, formerly of Bronx, NY, died on March 29, 2013. She will be missed by anyone who knew of her kindness, generous heart and sense of humor. Loving and caring wife of the late Raymond. Deeply loved by her son Raymond and his wife Virginia and devoted mother to the late Veronica "Peaches" Ahearn. She came from a large loving family and was predeceased by her sisters Gloria King, Virginia Sullivan, Margaret Morrissey, Dolores Morrissey, Catherine Krum, Marie Morrissey, Helen Kay and her brothers Stephen Morrissey and John Morrissey. Friends and family are invited for visitation on Monday April 1, 2013 from 2 - 4 PM and 7 - 9 PM at Volk-Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Rd. Teaneck, NJ. Funeral service from the funeral home at 9 AM on Tuesday April 2, 2013 and then to the Church of St. Anastasia, 1095 Teaneck Rd., Teaneck for a 10 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment to immediately follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. Family requests, in lieu of flowers, any donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
