Manchester– Alyce J. Reney, 77, died March 29, 2013 following a long period of failing health. She was born in Newport on August 17, 1935 the daughter of Robert and Agnes Shedd.
Alyce was a graduate of Towle High School in Newport, NH.
She was predeceased by her husband Edward C. Reney Jr. on March 27, 2005.
Alyce was a homemaker to her family which includes three daughters, Lea Reney of Las Vegas, NV., Donna Smagula and her husband, Elvie of Manchester, Tina Brousseau and her husband, Marc of Nashua, one son, Lyle Reney and his wife Michelle of Manchester, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and six sisters.
A memorial reception will take place on Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A committal service will be held in NH Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen on Friday April 5, 2013 at 1:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Alyce’s name to the American Diabetes Association, Memorial Donations, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
