Regina M. White, 87, of Derry, NH, went to be with our Lord on Thursday March 28, 2013 at her home in Derry. She was born in Seabrook, MD on September 29, 1925, a daughter of the late Raymond and Catherine (McCaffrey) Griffin. Regina was a resident of Derry for the past 12 years, formerly living in Waldorf, MD. She enjoyed reading and most of all spending time with her family.
She is survived by five children, Sharon R. Williams of Derry, Stephen W. White of St. Leonard, MD, Elaine D. Walden of Enterprise, AL, Mary E. Higgs of Sewell, NJ, and Paul B. White of Safety Harbor, FL; 11 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one sister, Margaret Scully of Belcamp, Maryland. She was predeceased by her husband Howard Leslie White in 2000 and her son, David Leslie White in 1950.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at a later date at the Veterans Cemetery in Cheltenham Md. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is assisting the family with arrangements.
