Funeral Services for Roger Gravitt , age 65, will be held Saturday at 2:00 P. M. at The High Hill Baptist Church, Ashburn, GA. with burial to follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Mr. Gravitt died Thursday March 28, 2013 at Tift Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Gravitt was born in Rochelle, GA. son of the late Paulos Levi and Mary Eunice Willingham Gravitt. He was a member of the High Hill Baptist Church and a retired farmer. He served with the U. S. Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Joel Gravitt.
He is survived by his wife Janann Passmore Gravitt, Ashburn, GA. and two daughters and sons-in-law Jana G. & Christopher Goss, Florence, SC and Lisa G. & Jamie Penoncello, Tifton, GA. and his brother and sister Jerry (Brenda) Gravitt and Paula (Wray) Reid, Ashburn, GA.and two grandchildren Will Penoncello and Abby Penoncello, Tifton, GA.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from Six until Eight P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
