Funeral Services for Obena Pate McNair, 81 of Ashburn will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Dakota Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Dakota Cemetery in Turner Co. Mrs. McNair passed away Thursday, July 29, 2004 at her residence following an extended illness.
A native and lifetime resident of Turner Co., she was the daughter of the late Henry Elijah and Simmie Lou Martin Pate. She was a member of the Dakota Baptist Church and Prime Timers. A homemaker, she was also retired from the Turner Co. Elementary School as Lunchroom manager.
Survivors include her husband, W. O. McNair of Ashburn; her children, Penny Thompson of Ashburn; Odie McNair, Sycamore; Robert McNair, Junction City, Ga.; Her sisters, Elna Goff, Dora Roberts, Annie Denham and Cortez Ireland all of Ashburn and Three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7 till 9 at Perry Funeral Chapel.
