WADUGEDARA Piyadasa of Newton Highlands formerly of Sri-Lanka, age 73. Beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many.
Wadu was a successful land surveyor in Sri-Lanka and the United States and Assistant Superintendent of a special police force in Sri-Lanka. He was the owner of the Victorian Montessori School.
He graduated from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka and the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom.
Wadu leaves behind his beloved wife Elizabeth, and his two daughters Hyacith S. Brohier of Newton Upper Falls, and Christine Lachkey of Walpole and his grandaughter Mackenzie Lachkey of Walpole.
He also leaves his beloved brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews that all reside in Sri-Lanka.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday April 2nd at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 1305 Highland Ave. (Exit 19B off 128) NEEDHAM from 4:00-6:30 pm. A memorial service will follow the visiting hours from 6:30-7:00 pm.
