Martha J. (Livermore) Harlan
March 6, 1934 to March 27, 2013

Martha J. (Livermore) Harlan, 79, of Anderson died March 27, 2013 at Manor Care after an extended illness.

Martha was born in Roseville, Illinois March 6, 1934 to Orville and Lois (Woodward) Livermore.

She graduated from Roseville High School in 1952 and Brown Business College in Galesburg, IL.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Anderson and Redbud Quilters Guild.

We were fortunate to have her be a "stay at home mom" until she went back to work in 1981. Mom worked for the ways and means committee while Greg and I were in the Highland Band. She retired from Best X-ray in 1999.

She is survived by her husband H. Eugene Harlan whom she married July 21, 1957 in Galesburg, IL; daughter Lori (Patrick) Cole of Greentown and son Gregory L. Harlan of Medford, NJ; brother John (Lilla) Livermore of Austin, TX; four grandchildren Regan E. Cole, A. Grant Cole, Benjamin Cole, and Colin Harlan; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Bill Livermore and Bob Livermore and a dear friend Betty Johnson.

Service will be on Tuesday, April 2, at 11:00 A.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Jeff Taylor officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation is 4 PM to 7 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
