FALL RIVER …Roland H. Tessier, 76, of Fall River, passed away March 19, 2013. He was the son of the late William R. and Eva (Bernard) Tessier of Fall River and had been a lifelong resident of the city. He was the spouse of Lorraine (Dube) Tessier.
He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean conflict. He worked for 40 years at the Fall River Knitting and NorthEast Knitting as a knitting machine operator. He enjoyed the Boston Red Sox and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, 4 Sons: Michael Tessier, of Fall River, David Tessier of New Hampshire, Steven Tessier of Framingham MA, Jeffrey Tessier of Fall River, A Daughter: Brenda Coelho of New York, 5 Brothers: William Tessier of Cotuit MA, Normand Tessier of Swansea, Henry Tessier of Westfield MA, Ernest Tessier of Fall River, Leo Tessier of Westport, A Sister: Ora Caya of Westport, 7 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Yvette Duck and Loretta Costa.
Memorial Visitation to which relatives and friends are invited to will be Tuesday from 9-11AM. Inurnment will be at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 12:45PM.
