West Boylston
Catherine P. (Quinn) McCaffery 61, of West Boylston, died Tuesday, July 27, in Oakdale Nursing Center, after an illness.
Her husband of 13 years, John H. McCaffery Sr. died in 1994. She leaves three sons, Robert J. Martin of Yarmouth, Mark Q. McCaffery and Thomas D. Martin both of West Boylston; a step-son, John H. McCaffery Jr. of Southwick; a step-daughter, Debra S. Riggott of Walpole; four sisters, Shelia Dumont of Mission Viejo, CA, Maureen Foss of Lawrence, Colleen Gaumond of Pelham, NH and Eileen Menchaka of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; three grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was born in Lowell, daughter of Thomas and Catherine (Murphy) Quinn and graduated from Tewksbury High School.
Mrs. McCaffery was a manager at West Boylston Motor Lodge for several years, prior to that she worked at St. George’s Rectory in Worcester.
She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church and its Women’s Club.
The Funeral will be held Saturday, July 31, from FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 West Boylston with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester St. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Calling Hours are Friday, July 30, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
