Louise Vickers, age 73, of Douglas, GA passed away on Monday, March 25, 2013, at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Vickers was born on September 16, 1939, in Ambrose, GA to the late Youngie Fussell, Sr. and Cola Whitley Fussell.
Survivors include: her son, John Harvey Merritt, of Temple, GA, daughter-in-law, Emma Lee Rish Merritt, of Temple, GA, granddaughter, Lana Rose (Jacob) Hilderbrand, of Dallas, GA, grandson, John Wesley Merritt, of Temple, GA, two sisters, Mary Lou (Cecil) Carver, of Douglas, GA and Margie Lee Boggan, of Ambrose, GA, two brothers, Huey (Willie Grace) Fussell, and Troy (Juanelle) Fussell, both of Ambrose, GA, several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by a son, Wesley Merritt.
Visitation will be held on Tuseday, March 26 from 6-9 pm.
Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Union Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Fussell and Rev. Walt Deloach officiating.
