Lucy F. (Mazzoni) Gentuso, Of Medford started her eternal life in the company of her family on March 24, 2013 after a full and active life for over 99 years with the last 65 being in Medford. Lucy was born in Milford, MA to Frances (Paghera) and Joseph Mazzone. She was the beloved wife of the late Leo V. Gentuso and was cherished by her three children and their spouses, Rose Marie Mazzarella and her late husband Michael, Eugene Gentuso and his wife Rose, Frances Santoro and her husband Eugene. Also survived by 15 loving grandchildren, 21 loving great grandchildren and 3 loving great great grandchildren all of whom she loved and enjoyed. Sister of the late Frank Mazzoni. She graduated from Girls High School in Boston and after raising her family, had a 38 year career in selling women’s clothing in Gilchrist and Cummings stores.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 8:30---10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
