Obituary

Mrs. Jeannette A. (Cote) Phillippino, of Taunton died Saturday, March 23 in Longmeadow of Taunton following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of Joseph A. Phillippino. She was born 75 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late George A. and Elmira (Benoit) Cote. She was educated in Taunton, had attended Bentley College in Waltham, and had been a lifelong city resident. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as Main Office Manager for Bristol County Savings Bank for over 30 years. Jeannette was a member of the Taunton Art Association, St. Nicholas of Myra Church Womens Guild, and the Red Hats. She enjoyed painting and artwork, knitting, gardening, camping and spending time with her family. She was a communicant of St. Nicholas of Myra Church in North Dighton.

In addition to her husband she leaves 1 son: Joseph E. Phillippino and his wife, Victoria of Lakeville; 1 daughter: Debra A. Binette and her husband, David of Woonsocket, R.I.; 2 brothers: Edmond Cote and his wife, Sylvia of FL and Richard Cote and his wife, Gail of Washington; 1 sister: Linda Cote of Mashpee; 5 grandchildren: Nicole Phillippino, Jillian Andress, Christine Phillippino, Corey Binette and Kayleigh Binette; 1 great granddaughter: Alexis Eliasen, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Wednesday, March 27 at 8:30 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Nicholas of Myra Church at 9:30 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
