Obituary

Williams, Mary Violet (Cotton) of Hull, passed away March 23, 2013.

Beloved wife of the late Herbert J. Williams. Loving mother of Alberta Donohue and her husband John of Hull, Joan O'Brien and her husband John of Hingham, Herbert J. Jr., Mary Cusick and her husband Thomas and Ann Marciano and her husband Peter all of Hull. Dear sister of Ellen Cotton and Marjorie Lundrigan both of Abington and the late Catherine Hawkins and Dorothy Adams. Cherished grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.


Mary Violet born in Newfoundland Canada and lived in Dorchester for many years before settling in Hull in 1975. She was a member of the Hull Senior Citizen's Center where she enjoyed, bowling, taking trips and making many friends. Mary's family remembers her as a caring and gentle woman who never had a bad word for anyone. She was a wonderful cook and always made enough for a crowd. Most of all, Mary's family was the cornerstone of her life. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM.

Burial in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull.

Donations in memory of Mary may be made to Perkins School for the Blind, 175 N. Beacon Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
