Austin "Barney" McFadden 82, of Kingston, WA formerly of Worcester, died, June 23, 2004
He leaves his wife of 60 years, Helen D. (Rukosky) McFadden; five sons, two daughters; nine grandchildren; a brother, James McFadden of Worcester; two sisters, Nora McFadden and Loretta Laverty both of Worcester and several nieces and nephews. A brother, John McFadden, predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Austin P. and Nora (O'Grady) McFadden and graduated from St. John’s High School He served in the United States Navy.
Mr. McFadden worked in pharmaceutical sales for over 30 years until his retirement in 1980.
A Memorial Mass will be held Sunday, Aug.1, at 9:45 a.m. in St. Stephen’s Church, 357 Grafton St. FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 9 Hammond St., Worcester, is directing local arrangements.
