Lisa Marie (Blanchard) Gallagher, age 50, formerly of Weymouth, passed away peacefully from a long illness in her home surrounded by her family on Friday March 22, 2013. Lisa is survived by her loving husband, Peter Gallagher and was cherished by her parents, Harold Blanchard of Ft. Meyers, FL and Charlotte Blanchard of Bluffton, SC. Lisa is also survived by her 2 sisters, Wendy Cassese and her husband, Drew and Jill Healy and her husband, Brian, all of Weymouth.
Lisa graduated from Becker College and Emmanuel College where she received her Bachelor’s degree. Lisa loved her job at Mass General Hospital where she worked for 12 years as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She also enjoyed golf and traveling with friends.
Lisa was beloved by many friends and family. She leaves her in-laws, Eugene and Janet Gallagher, Kathleen Johansen and her husband Fred, Paul Gallagher and his wife Lucy, and her brother-in-law Patrick Gallagher. She also leaves many cousins, nieces and nephews.
The Funeral will be at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Wednesday, March 27 at 11 A.M. Visiting Hours will be on Tuesday from 4 to 8 P.M.
