Obituary

FALL RIVER… Walter Hadala, 88, of Fall River died Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at St. Anne’s Hospital.
He was born in Fall River a son of the late John and Anna (Golen) Hadala and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
He was employed at Duro Finishing in Fall River retiring in 1988 after 40 years of service.
He was an Army Veteran of W.W.II serving in the 110th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Gun Battalion and was in Normandy.
Mr. Hadala was a member of the Disabled Veterans of America and the A.A.R.P. and he enjoyed fishing, bowling, and gardening.
Survivors include a sister Jean Burnside of Philadelphia, PA and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Sylvester Hadala, Josephine Rodrigues, and Sarah Semenchuk.
Graveside services to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave., Bourne, MA. Arrangements are by the BOYKO MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 709 Broadway, Fall River, MA.
