Mrs. Frances Porcaro, age 101 of Stoneham, formerly of Medford, died Wednesday in Woodbriar Of Wilmington. She is the wife of the late Angelo Porcaro.
Born in Boston, daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Perella) Mariano, she spent most of her life in Medford.
She was a Candymaker, formerly employed by Schrafft's Candy Company in Charlestown during the 70's.
She is survived by a daughter: Marie Penney and her husband Robert of Stoneham, a son, Ernest Porcaro and his wife Dorothy of Medford. Loving grandmother of Patricia Hand, Robert Penney Jr, Gary Penney, Jeanna Bertolaccini, Michael Porcaro and the late Daniel Porcaro. Also survived by 11 great grandchildren. Sister of the late Anne Babbitt.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit prior to the Funeral Mass from 8:30-9:30 am in the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 306 Main Street Medford. Services will conclude with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
