Thomas Anderson, age 65, of Douglas, GA passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Anderson was born in Alma, GA on November 23, 1947, to the late Carson Walker and Jacquelyn Lewis Anderson.
Survivors include: his wife, Joyce Anderson, of Douglas, GA, two daughters, Sherri (Keith) Walters and Carey (Joey) Vaughn, both of Douglas, GA, three sisters, Sandra Brunson, of Alma, GA, Amelia Fossett, of Alma, GA, Karen Dyal, of Alma, GA, six grandchildren, Breanna Wright, Halen Wright, Mallory Walters, Rachel Taylor, Adalyn Vaughn, and Adyn Vaughn, all of Douglas, GA, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 21 from 6-9 pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 2 :00 p.m. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Vaughn and Rev. Gerald Gardner officiating. Interment followed at Stokesville Baptist Church Cemetery.
