Husband of the late Margaret A. (Hohmann) Magner. Father of Daniel Magner of NY, Peter & his wife Annie of OH, Luke and his wife Dina of Weymouth, Timothy & his wife Jill of Milwaukee, WI and the late Suzanne M. Dekkers. Brother of Robert Magner of Hingham , Dewey Ahern of Destin, FL and the late Daniel Magner, Gladys Harkins and Barbara McManama. Grandfather of Frances, Peter, Samual, Nicholas and Aidan.
Dr. Magner graduated from Hingham High School Class of 1950, he then graduated from Boston College Class of 1954. He studied medicine at Georgetown University Medical School and graduated in 1958. Dr. Magner did his residency at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. He was a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society. Dr. Magner worked at South Shore Hospital for more than 35 years, he also had a private practice for several years. He retired back in 1997.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM Wednesday at 9 AM.
Funeral Mass in Saint Paul's Church, Hingham at 10 AM.
Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 PM.
Burial in Saint Paul's Cemetery, Hingham.
