Obituary

Ronald A. George, of Plymouth formerly of Worcester, died on March 19th at the age of 60 at Kindred Hospital in Stoughton. Ronald was born in Worcester on September 20, 1952 and lived there until recently when he moved to Plymouth. He was a cub scout, a boy scout and sang in the choir at the Central Congregational Church in Worcester. He graduated from the Fanning Trade School in Worcester. He retired after working for the City of Worcester School Department for 30 years. After retirement, he worked for ADP delivering auto parts until he moved to Plymouth. In his younger days, he enjoyed riding his Harley. He was an avid race car, Boston Red Sox and Patriots fan. His hobbies included collecting model buses, listening to music, going to the ocean, gardening and getting tattoos. He lived with his two cats, Fester and Susie as well as his fish. He loved wild life, especially eagles and wolves.
He is predeceased by his mother Evelyn Street and leaves behind his sister Kathleen George of Plymouth. Cousins Carolyn Benscoter of Windsor, Sheila Breaut of Lewisville, NC and Gloria Steward of Elburn, IL and his second cousin Marjorie Haryes of Millbury. He also leaves his good friends Robyn Guerretta of Oakham, Nina and Paul Crasco of Norwell and many other friends and family.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday March 24th at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd (Rt 3A), Plymouth (Manomet) from 5 to 9 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, March 25th at 11 AM followed by burial at All Faith’s Cemetery in Worcester.
