Walter P. Papalegis of Peabody, formerly of Salem, passed away on March 20, 2013. He was 87 years old.
Walter was the dear and devoted husband of the late Margaret (Reid). Loving father of Walter Papalegis and his wife Deborah of Rockport and Todd Papalegis and his wife Margaret of NH. Cherished grandfather of Alyson Mendese and Derek Papalegis. Beloved great-grandfather of Isabella, Elijah and Caden Mendese. Dear brother of the late Frank Papalegis, Marie McGee, Helen Buckley and Henry Papalegis. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
Walter's Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Theresa of Avila Church on March 23, 2013.
