Russel Melvin Geeskie

Russel Melvin Geeskie, 67, of Daleville, IN, died March 16, 2013 at Ball Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Russel was born December 18, 1945 in Anderson, IN to Clarence and Dorothy Geeskie.
He worked production for Magniquench Division of GM for 33 years before retiring. He was an officer in the Civil Air Patrol, mentored cadet youth in Aero Space and leadership studies as well as supporting community activities in his role as a Squadron Commander.
He is survived by his three sons Derek (Marla) Geeskie of Colorado, William (Carrie) Geeskie and Jason Geeskie all of Anderson; his daughter, Lesley Hughes; eight grandchildren, Adam, Riley, Lane Geeskie, Gage, Carlie Geeskie, Jayson, Lila and Jamere Geeskie; great granddaughter Carrie Daulton.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Service will be 3:00 P.M. Thursday. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.
